My name is Victor Mills, and I was raised in the wonderful community of Lufkin, Texas. I graduated from Hudson High School in 2018 and have been dedicated to serving families in the funeral service profession since 2019.

In 2020, I married my amazing wife, Kayla, and we've been blessed with a growing family. We welcomed our son, Josiah James ("JJ"), in 2023, and we're excited to welcome our daughter, Madison, later this August.

Serving families during some of life's most difficult moments is more than a career—it's a calling. I consider it a true privilege to guide families through the funeral planning process with compassion, respect, and care, helping make a difficult time a little easier.


In addition to my work in funeral service, I proudly serve families through Johnston Monument Company in Lufkin, Texas, where I specialize in designing custom memorials that celebrate the lives and legacies of those who have passed. We are committed to providing exceptional craftsmanship, personalized designs, and outstanding customer service to ensure every memorial is as unique as the individual it honors.


If you're considering a headstone or memorial, I would be honored to meet with you for a personal consultation. Together, we'll create a monument that reflects your loved one's life, faith, and legacy. Once the design is finalized, I'll personally guide you through the ordering process and keep you informed every step of the way. Depending on the material selected, many memorials can be designed, crafted, and installed in as little as 60 to 90 days.

Learn About Our Founder

Andy first got into cooking after finishing up a BS in Biology at the University of Iowa and preparing for medical school applications. This newfangled hobby turned into a full fledged passion and led him away from medicine and to Seattle for culinary school. During their four years out West, Andy was able to get essential experience in several Seattle restaurants, and start his own boutique catering company. With his daughter in tow, son on the way and a vision for his own restaurant in Charlotte, Andy moved back to raise his family and pursue his dream.



Upon arrival, Andy landed a coveted job at the Lincoln Cafe where he spent five years in a wonderfully enriching environment, expanding his culinary ideals. Now Andy brings you a realized dream of what a restaurant means to him, Peak Lounge. Free time for Andy includes helping his kids discover the world, reading as many cookbooks as he can manage, and enjoying peaceful Charlotte living.
